For the last fifteen years Bob has been a partner and consulting adviser with boutique corporate advisory firms. Bob has extensive executive management experience gained from a career of over 20 years in the information technology industry. He has held senior general management and financial management positions with major global corporations and technology start-ups, including Digital Equipment Corporation, MIPS Computer Systems, Silicon Graphics, Hitachi Data Systems and Entelec Systems. He has also had responsibility for regional and Australian operations.
Bob has held directorships in private equity investee companies in areas including e-commerce payment systems software, voice recognition software and expert systems software, in a tail-end fund company, an unlisted public company, group companies and their operational entities, as well as joint venture companies in Thailand and Korea.
Bob was a member of the Independent Advisory Council for the Colonial First State Diversified Private Equity Fund from July 2001 to 2009. This fund raised $100 million for investment in early and later stage businesses. The fund made some ten investments returning a positive IRR to investors.
Bob works with clients providing the full range of Kenilworth’s advisory services and is currently on a number of advisory boards.
Bob’s academic and professional qualifications include an MBA from Macquarie University and a Bachelor of Commerce with Merit from the University of New South Wales. He is a CPA (Certified Practicing Accountant) and a graduate member of the Institute of Company Directors. Bob founded Kenilworth Partners in November 2004.
